On two occasions, Jesus was criticized by his opponents and defended himself by asserting Scripture “cannot be broken” (John 7:23, 10:35). Bible verses are interlocked like tiles of a mosaic. You cannot break off individual tiles without detracting from the whole image.
The aim of this blog is to provide a confident understanding of how Scripture is interlocked so believers can talk about the Bible more meaningfully with the non-believing.

Almost like a seasonal sport we are treated annually to debunkings of Christmas story ‘myths’ and misunderstandings: “the Bible doesn’t say there were three wise men, or that Mary rode a donkey to Bethlehem, or that the baby Jesus never cried.” The debunking popularity seems to have increased over the years as daily reading and general knowledge of the Bible diminishes.
